Wilson Staff Pi7
$600.00
Released January, 2008
The Pros:Excellent feel, feedback tells you right where on the face you hit the ball. Beautiful reflective chrome finish, very impressive looking. Not too big and not too small, ideal size for most players.
The Cons:Sand and dirt sticks to the anti-vibration coating. A little tricky to work a shot. Chip shots feel a little hollow an dtinny.
The Wilson Staff Pi7 is a set of performance irons with a classic shape that are designed to help better players achieve their best on the course. The tour proved cavity-back blade has a compact head with a thin thinner top line and constant offset taht appeals to the eye of a better player.

The perimeter-weighted cavity gives maximum forgiveness in a tour-preffered head size. The heel-toe weighting gives a high moment of inertia (MOI) and the wider sole and slightly larger heads on long iron improves playability. There is an elastomeric paint in the cavity which reduces vibrations to the hand by 1/3.
