Wilson Staff Fg59
$900.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Feel is smooth and buttery on a good hit. Classic look with a thin topline and no offset, very easy to set up. Explosive hits, ball goes a great distance.
The Cons:Doesn't allow for much forgiveness, need to be careful with these. Chrome wears and scuffs up as you use them. Grips feel cheap and poorly fastened.
The Wilson Staff Fg59 is a set of forged irons inspired by the Fg17 and commemorates the 59 Major Championships earned by Wilson irons. Although they are inspired by a classic design, their performance remains intact and is suited for skilled or professional golfers, including DJ Trahan.

The club head is made from mild carbon steel and feature a wider sole and lower muscle that lowers the center of gravity (CG) and improves the ground interaction. The hard sole has a mild camber which prevents skidding on harder fairways and minimizes digging on softer fairways. The minimal offset improves the clubs workability and gives greater trajectory control. The Wilson Staff Fg59 is available for a limited time and quantity and come in a limited edition collector's box.
