TaylorMade Burner Superlaunch Irons
$699.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:The long irons have an extremely wide sole that helps them work through the turf effectively. Thick topline, which is reassuring and helps high-handicappers and slow swingers hit straight shots more easily. Powerful impact sensation.
The Cons:Slower swinging golfers may not realize the full benefit of these clubs.
TaylorMade's Burner Superlaunch Irons are a higher-end set of game-improvement clubs with several features that increase the overall range of the shot. These include a low centre of gravity, longer shaft lengths and head/shaft weight distribution.

The clubs have a very high launch trajectory that, when combined with the other features, can help to compensate for slower swings. These clubs also allow maximum forgiveness through an oversized head and a large offset. In theory, the club allows for relatively consistent distance even on mishits. Available irons are 3- through nine, plus three wedges (pitching, sand, approach).
