The heel and toe have additional weight, and this serves to increase the MOI (Moment Of Inertia), which gives you forgiveness on off-center hits. There are varying groove angles on the press milled faces of the Z-TX Irons, depending on the club's length. The result is that spin is optimized for short, medium and long irons.
