Ping i15 Irons
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Extreme forgiveness, can be way off center and still hit straight. Sweet spot is very large, hard to miss in the first place. Have a great feel throughout the swing, nice balance.
The Cons:No loft lower than 9 degrees in the set.
Ping's i15 Irons are the competitive set of clubs that complements the G15 game-improvement set. They feature a "progressive midsize" club head design and an open-back cavity design to allow for moderate forgiveness.

The centre of gravity is fairly wide to allow for higher launch angles. As a set, the head design varies between larger long irons, for forgiveness, and smaller more specialized heads for approach shots. Each iron has a tungsten weight added to the toe. These clubs range from 3 to 9 irons but there is only a single wedge, the pitching wedge. These irons are available on a variety of Ping shafts.
