Ping G5 Irons
$400.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Incredibly forgiving when the ball isn't struck perfectly. The longer irons are amongst the easiest to hit on the market. Good value buy.
The Cons:Pretty simple aesthetics, not that different from previous generation ping's. May be a little heavy for some golfers. May find yourself hitting the ball too high.
The Ping G5 Irons are a set of irons designed to help give golfers game improvement. The large head and wide sole gives forgiveness and consistency accross the club face. They feature a deeper, parallel cavity which widens the sole and pushes the center of gravity (CG) lower and further from the face to give higher launching, more accurate results.

The larger Custom Tuning Port (CTP) stabilizes the face for more consistent feel and perfomace at impact and dampens vibration for a solid, pleasant feel. The stainless steel head is heat treated to provide consistency and durabilty, and is adjustable to fit all golfers. Ping offers the choice of 3 steel and 3 graphite shafts as well as a variety of grips allowing you to personalize the clubs to match your playing style.
