Nike Slingshot HL

$699.00 Released December, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Increased offset position, makes it easier for golfers to square the hybrid at impact. 3,4 and 5 irons are replaced by easy to hit hybrids. Keel sole design in the hybrids increases the playability from the fairway and rough.

The Cons:Limited feel. I don't like the green color theme on the clubhead.

The Nike Slingshot HL is an award winning set of mixed clubs from the Nike Slingshot line of golf clubs.  The #3, #4 and #5 clubs are hybrid clubs with a slingback design which positions the weight further back in the club for a stable swing.

Product Shot 2  The low and deep profile helps get balls airborne more easily, and the keel sole increases the playabiliy from the fairway and rough.  The increased offset helps square the club, resulting in straighter shots.  The #6 to PW irons also have slingback design for desired ball flight, and the club head profile increses the MOI (moment of intertia) for more stable on center hits. The sole width and offest increases with club length giving higherlaunch for shorter clubs and more control on longer clubs. The HL line comes with a high-strength steel alloy shaft or lightweight graphite shaft, and custom shafts are available.
