Released January, 2006
The Pros:Crisp feedback when striking the ball. Plenty of forgiveness for intermediate and advanced golfers, easy to hit. Easy to control and shape the shot.
The Cons:Offer too much control for newer golfers, only enough forgiveness for intermediate level. Accumulate scratches and nicks, start to look pretty worn.
The Mizuno MP-60 is the first set of irons made available by Mizuno to incorporate forgiveness into their innovative Cut Muscle technology and won "Testers' Top Pick" honors in Golf Magazine's Club Test 2006.

The innovative Cut Muscle Cavity design gives the head an ideal center of gravity (CG) location to provide a higher trajectory in long irons and a mid trajectory in the mid irons as well as give an enhanced solid feel, predictable ball flight and increased forgiveness. The Grain Flow Forged head is made from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel that provides the ultimate soft, solid, consistent feel. The double nickel chrome plated finish gives the club good durability and the modified U-grooves produce an ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions. The rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies. The Mizuno MP-60 come in 2-9 irons and PW, and are available in RH and LH, expect the 2 iron which is only RH.
