Cleveland Launcher Irons

$700.00 Released January, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Short irons will get the ball up in the air quickly. These irons are incredibly forgiving. The Launcher hybrids are easier to hit than traditional long irons.

The Cons:More advanced golfers will not be able to work the ball with these irons. I miss not having a 51 at times. The grips were el cheapos , had them all replaced before i walked out the shop as they were splitting up the sides.

The Cleveland Launcher Irons are a set of hybrid irons that give maximum forgiveness. The Launcher hybrid (3 - 5) is 12% larger than previous Cleveland models and the face is among the biggest in the market for a huge hitting area and amazing forgiveness.

The hybrid parabolic leading edge gives improved turf interaction and the extended horseshoe perimeter weighting gives a low and deep center of gravity (CG) giving Cleveland's highest moment of inertia (MOI) of 3,000 resulting in exceptionally consistent ball flight. The 6 to SW irons have 52% more face to CG depth than a traditional iron which increases the angle and ball speed, especially on off-center hits. The 6 to SW have a thicker topline and additional offset for more confidence and consistently straight shots, and they have extended horseshoe perimeter weighting giving gives a low and deep center of gravity (CG) and a 20% greater moment of inertia (MOI) which minimizes loss of distance on off-center shots and helps improve forgiveness.
