Callaway RAZR X Irons
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Feels like a blade's sweetspot at impact, more forgiving and longer on mis-hits. High spin rate on short irons, shots bite or check easily. Easy on the eyes at address.
The Cons:Grass may be hard to remove from the cavity back.
Callaway RAZR X Irons are a set of clubs designed to balance forgiveness with good accuracy and distance in every shot. The construction uses a low, deep center of gravity to improve the momentum behind the swing for hotter contact with the ball.

The balance is aided by 30 grams of weight in the back cavity, ensuring that the ball can be sent where the player intends it to go. A VGT Face and high-definition Undercut cavity are used to ensure that ball speeds are consistent across most of the face for better forgiveness, making more miss-hits go where they were originally intended. A standard set of Callaway RAZR X Irons includes the 6 irons and an additional 2 hybrid clubs.
