Adams Idea Tech V3 Irons
$165.00
Released August, 2010
The Pros:Reliable performance with a good progression throughout the set. Hits straight consistently with great forgiveness. Looks very impressive and confidence-inspiring at address.
The Cons:Wear out fairly quickly, can develop a rattle. Black color comes off within a few months. Grips are a bit slippery, could use an upgrade.
The Adams Idea Tech V3 Irons are a hybrid iron set designed for novice players that need an easy-to-hit club. The design combines a nickel chromium (NiCr) plating with a physical vapor deposition (PVD) black finish, which are used to both protect the club and create a hotter face with a higher launch.

The sole design is curved to enable steep or sweep approaches, offering better playability and fewer problems with contact with the turf during the swing. A four-piece badge system uses visoelastic vibration dampening material, which creates a comfortable and responsive feel at the point of contact without causing undue fatigue. The design of the face allows for extreme forgiveness, and the offset is progressive throughout the set. Sets are available that include standard irons or all hybrid clubs.
