Adams Idea a7OS Irons
$750.00
Released August, 2009
The Pros:The 5-hybrid is a big plus over a standard 5-iron for intermediate golfers. Longer-than-average distance with a high trajectory. Should offer golfers enough forgiveness.
The Cons:Dull feel means good and bad shots have a similar sensation. Not the best irons for chip shots and other shots around the green.
The Idea a7OS Irons is an iron set from Adams' Idea Series that is designed to provide distance, improved launch conditions, and playability. The set is comprised of 8 irons: 3 to 7 hybrid irons and short irons from 8 to PW.

The 3, 4, and 5 hybrid irons feature an ultra-thin crown which lowers the center of gravity and have a thin face to increase the ball speed. They also offer 44-gram heel and toe perimeter weighting to provide the maximum forgiveness. The 6 and 7 hybrids of the Idea a7OS Irons set are designed with back weighting, a four-way cambered sole, and an H-back channel vibration dampening system to increase speed, distance and forgiveness. The short irons feature a low, deep center of gravity and have quad-cavity heel and toe perimeter weighting for improved feel and forgiveness. The Idea a7OS Irons are paired with a Grafalloy ProLaunch Axis shaft and an Adams' Traction Tour Velvet grip. The set has a retail price of $750.
